HUM200 Group Dynamics

Welcome to Group Dynamics!

This course involves the study of group dynamics.  It is intended to explore and familiarize students with the structure and process of groups.  Through both a theoretical and experiential examiniation of topics such as member roles, leader roles, norms, goals, dialogue, conflict resolution, cohesion, critical discussion, decision making, and evaluation of group performance, this course will provide students with an opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to work effectively and cooperatively in group settings.

Online Classes

  • Each Online Class will be split into two parts:  First you will have an online lecture through the Contact North website, Second for the last 2 hours you will be given an assignment that will need to be completed with a 2 hour span and submited through email.  These assignments will make up 55% of your final grade.

Course Evaluation

  • Tests: 45%
    • There will be two tests which will be done online 
  • Assignments: 55%
    • All assignments will be done in class during our scheduled time
